Policies:
Check-in is after 4:00 pm & check-out is prior to 10 am.
We are happy to accommodate
an earlier arrival or departure time whenever possible and can let you know 24 hours
in advance of that date.
Reservation
Requirements -

An advance deposit of 50% of the total rental charges along with signed
Reservation Confirmation form and Rental Contract Agreement are required to secure
your reservation. The balance is due before your arrival date: 30 days
for regular and peak seasons, 45 days for holiday seasons.
For credit cards outside the US, there is
a $50 transaction fee.
If paying by check,
the total rental amount is due no less than
30 days (45 days for holidays) before arrival date.
No
checks accepted less than 30 days prior to arrival.
Cancellations -
For regular season rentals:
There is no refund of rental
deposit if cancellation is made less than 30 days before reserved arrival
date. Cancellation made 14 days or less before reserved arrival date will
incur loss of total rental amount.
For weekly, peak season & holiday rentals: There is no refund of deposit
for cancellation less than 60 days prior to reserved arrival date.
Cancellation made 30 days (45 days for holidays) or less before arrival date
will incur loss of total rental amount.
A $35 cancellation fee plus an additional 6% cancellation fee for credit
card payments applies to any cancellation refund. If we can re-rent your
cancelled dates, we will issue a refund in the amount of rate rented, less
cancellation fees. Date changes and/or failure to pay balance when due will
be treated as cancellations.
Security Deposit - A refundable $250 security deposit will be held
against your credit card.
The
authorization may temporarily affect your available credit, but will not
actually be charged to your account unless there is damage or a violation of
contract rules & regulations.
If paying by check, we must receive this deposit along with your rental
payment - within 30 days of your arrival date.
Any damage in excess of the security deposit will be billed to the person
booking the reservation.
NO Smoking - This
cabin is for non-smokers. SMOKING IS PROHIBITED ANYWHERE on the
premises - inside or out.
Failure to observe this
rule will incur a $250
fine plus charges for damages and/or cleaning expenses. This policy
strictly enforced!
NO Pets -
No pets of any
kind are permitted on the property or inside the cabin. No exceptions.

Occupancy is
limited to REGISTERED GUESTS ONLY. Occupancy by more than the number
of people stated in the rental agreement will result in termination of the
rental plus forfeiture of
all charges. Partying
with more people than booked for the cabin is prohibited. You must
be at least 25 years old to rent MOOSEMAC. Couples under 25
may request a waiver.
